Born in 1926, Daniel Troen Moe earned the B.A. from Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) in 1949, the M.A. from the University of Washington in 1952, and the Ph. D. from the University of Iowa in 1961. Known for his work as a guest conductor and choral clinician, Moe also composed over 40 published compositions, as well as two books on conducting.
